Review: 'The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian'

'The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian'

Despite being unable to reconcile having two entirely different heroes, 'The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian' is a visually strong and emotionally striking film that makes the most of its much-touted "darker Narnia."

He's been talking about it for a while, but it was hard to believe it would ever actually happen. Russell T. Davies, one of the most hands-on producers in television, is stepping back from his role on Doctor Who.

Steven Moffat is set to take over as lead writer and executive producer for season 5 of the show, which Davies brought back to life with phenomenal success – including two spin-offs – in 2005.

Star Trek and Heroes star George Takei announced he's getting married to his companion of 21 years, Brad Altman, now that California's Supreme Court has ruled than banning same-sex marriage is unconstitutional in that state.

The 71-year-old star announced on his web site that he and his fiancé are looking for just the right place to tie the knot. "He is my love and I can't imagine life without him," Takei said in his announcement. "Now, we can have the dignity, as well as all the responsibilities, of marriage."

Takei publicly revealed he is gay in October 2005, though his homosexuality was an open secret for decades before that.

Congratulations, George and Brad. Publicly declaring your love is something everyone should be able to do.
